63 A MCCB with high interrupting capacity for line protection
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1063-4ED32-0DC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 63 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a TM210 thermal-magnetic release and an integrated undervoltage release (UVR). It carries 121 kA breaking capacity at 240 V AC, dropping to 75.6 kA at 415 V and 52.5 kA at 440 V — enough headroom for most industrial distribution panels where fault current runs high. The front face is IP40 rated; no trip indicator or phase failure detection is built in, so plan for external annunciation if needed.
Sizing and thermal derating
This MCCB holds its full 63 A rating up to 50 °C ambient. Above that, it derates to 60.48 A at 55 °C, 59.22 A at 60 °C, 57.96 A at 65 °C, and 56.7 A at 70 °C. In a sealed panel running hot, that 50 °C ceiling is the practical limit for a straight 63 A load; above that, factor the derate into your conductor and load sizing.
Panel fit and auxiliary integration
Dimensions: 130 mm tall, 76.2 mm wide, 70 mm deep. It ships with two HQ auxiliary switches (order code 3VA9608-0BB25 for the integrated auxiliary trip). The undervoltage release is factory-fitted; verify coil voltage compatibility with your control circuit before panel assembly. Storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C; operating range is -25 °C to 70 °C.
