MCCB for line protection — 63 A, 3-pole, TM210 release
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1063-4ED36-0CH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for a continuous current of 63 A at 40 °C, with the TM210 thermal-magnetic release tuned for line protection. The interrupting capacity reaches 121 kA at 240 V and 75.6 kA at 415 V, giving selectivity headroom for most distribution panels. The 70 mm depth and 76.2 mm width fit standard MCCB mounting footprints in enclosures.
Current derating and thermal limits
Rated continuous current holds at 63 A from 40 °C through 50 °C ambient. Above that, derating is progressive: 60.48 A at 55 °C, 59.22 A at 60 °C, 57.96 A at 65 °C, and 56.7 A at 70 °C. The operating temperature range spans -25 °C to 70 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 80 °C.
Auxiliary contacts and undervoltage release
This MCCB ships with 2 auxiliary switches plus 1 trip alarm switch (HQ version) and an integrated undervoltage release (UVR). The UVR coil is designed for undervoltage protection; the auxiliary contact set provides status feedback for PLC or indication circuits. The auxiliary release order code is 3VA9608-0BB24.
