80 A MCCB with TM210 — line protection for distribution panels
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1080-2ED32-0AE0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 80 A continuous current at 40 °C, with no derating needed up to 50 °C — it holds the full 80 A through that range. Above 55 °C it steps down: 76.8 A at 55 °C, 75.2 A at 60 °C, 73.6 A at 65 °C, and 72 A at 70 °C. The TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release handles the time-current curve, adjustable to a maximum delay of 1 s (tr max). It is designed for straightforward feeder and branch-circuit protection in LV distribution.
The interrupting rating drops with system voltage: 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V.
At 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, and 130 mm tall, this MCCB fits standard panel-mount cutouts for 3-pole SENTRON frames. No auxiliary release is fitted as standard — the design is listed as without auxiliary release. The TM210 release is fixed-thermal, fixed-magnetic; no voltage trigger.
