The TM210 thermal-magnetic release handles overloads and short circuits without external power — the thermal element tracks the load curve, the magnetic element trips instantaneously on high fault current. Breaking capacity hits 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V, so it clears faults up to those levels without upstream cascading. An integrated shunt trip (STL) release (order code 3VA9688-0BL30) and two HQ auxiliary switches are built in, so you can remote-trip the breaker and get status feedback without adding external modules.
Footprint is 76.2 mm wide by 130 mm tall by 70 mm deep — standard DIN-rail mount, fits a 3-pole MCCB slot in most SENTRON distribution panels. The 70 mm depth leaves room behind the door for wiring and the shunt trip wiring. Current rating holds at 80 A up to 50 °C, then derates to 76.8 A at 55 °C, 75.2 A at 60 °C, 73.6 A at 65 °C, and 72 A at 70 °C — plan your enclosure ventilation if the panel runs hot.
