It uses a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release — a fixed thermal element paired with a magnetic trip that handles short-circuit and overload protection without electronics. The interrupting ratings are 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V, so it can be specified into a 400 V distribution board where available fault current sits well below 32 kA, or into a 240 V subfeed at full 52.5 kA. The front carries IP40 protection, meaning tools or fingers won't reach live parts but the breaker is not sealed against moisture — mount it in a dry, indoor enclosure.
Temperature derating and real-world current
Above 50 °C it derates: 76.8 A at 55 °C, 75.2 A at 60 °C, 73.6 A at 65 °C, and 72 A at 70 °C.
Auxiliary switching and panel integration
No communication function, so it is a standalone breaker; remote trip or metering requires an external add-on. The 76.2 mm width (three-pole footprint) and 130 mm height fit standard SENTRON 3VA panel cutouts; depth is 70 mm behind the panel face. No trip indicator, so a tripped condition is visible only through the handle position or the aux contact state.
