Rated 80 A at 40 °C ambient, it delivers 52.5 kA breaking capacity at 240 V and still holds 32 kA at 415 V — solid headroom for industrial service-entrance or feeder duty where fault current runs high.
Breaking capacity and thermal curve
At 440 V the interrupting rating is 13.6 kA, and at 500 V and 690 V it holds 7.5 kA — that covers most 480Y/277 V and 600 V industrial systems in North America and 690 V European grids. The thermal derating stays flat at 80 A from 40 °C up to 50 °C, then drops only to 74 A at 70 °C; you don't lose much frame in a warm enclosure.
