The Siemens 3VA1080-3ED42-0HC0 is a 4-pole IEC molded-case circuit breaker in the 3VA1 frame, sized for 80 A continuous load with a fixed thermal-magnetic TM210 trip unit. Overload protection is fixed at Ir = 80 A; short-circuit pickup is fixed at Ii = 10 × In (800 A). A shunt trip (STL) rated 12–30 V DC / 24 V AC 50/60 Hz is factory-installed, along with two auxiliary switches (HQ).
The 4-pole footprint occupies four module widths in a standard distribution board. The shunt trip coil draws from a separate control circuit (12–30 V DC or 24 V AC); verify the control transformer sizing if multiple breakers trip simultaneously.
