The Siemens 3VA1080-4ED32-0KH0 is a 3-pole IEC molded-case circuit breaker on a 100 A frame, fitted with a fixed TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit set at 80 A (Ir = 80 A, Ii = 10 × In). The breaker ships with a shunt trip (STL) rated 220–250 V DC / 208–277 V AC, two auxiliary switches (HQ), and one trip alarm switch (HQ).
Below that, the TM210 thermal element provides overload protection with a fixed Ir of 80 A, so the breaker is sized for a continuous load up to 80 A. The instantaneous pickup at 10 × In (800 A) clears hard faults fast, which helps with cable protection in IEC 60947-2 applications. The shunt trip allows remote tripping from a safety relay or E-stop circuit; it operates on either 220–250 V DC or 208–277 V AC, so it can be wired into a control transformer secondary or a DC UPS bus without an extra converter.
