The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1104-5MG32-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated 4 A continuous — flat across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — with a TM110M thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. The starter protection design means it's built to coordinate with a contactor for motor starting duty; the TM release handles overloads, and the magnetic element clears short-circuits. Breaking capacity is the headline here: 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415 V, 75.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. The steep drop above 440 V reflects the physics of arc extinction in a compact frame; at 690 V the 7.5 kA rating still covers downstream faults in a well-coordinated system.
The power loss is 5.4 W maximum, which is modest for a 4 A MCCB and won't drive enclosure derating in a typical panel.
