The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1110-1AA32-0AC0 is a 3-pole switch disconnector built in an MCCB-style housing — essentially a load-break disconnect rated for 100 A continuous current (Iu) without overload or short-circuit protection elements. It's a straight disconnect-and-isolate device, not a breaker. The 2 kA limited-time withstand (1 s and 0.5 s) tells you the fault-handling envelope: it can survive a fault up to that level while the upstream protection clears, but it won't interrupt a fault itself. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, max AC operational voltage 690 V, DC side 500 V. Front terminal busbar connection keeps wiring clean.
Where it lands in a panel
The 76.2 mm width and 70 mm depth fit a standard MCCB footprint — it occupies the same panel real estate as a 3-pole molded-case breaker of the same frame. The 2 auxiliary switches HQ (form C contacts) give you status feedback for PLC or indication without needing a separate auxiliary block. Operating temperature spans -25 °C to 70 °C, storage from -40 °C to 80 °C.
