Switch disconnector for isolation, not protection
It provides isolation without overload or short-circuit protection. It includes an undervoltage release at 24 V DC and two auxiliary switches.
The 100 A continuous rating (Iu) defines the maximum current the switch can carry without exceeding temperature limits — sized for a feeder or main disconnect on a 100 A branch. The UVR at 24 V DC provides undervoltage protection: if the control voltage drops, the switch trips open. This is a common requirement for motor circuits where loss of control voltage must disconnect the load. The two auxiliary switches (2 CO contacts) give you status feedback for a PLC or indication lamp. The busbar connection and front terminal arrangement mean it's designed for panel mounting with busbar systems — not for DIN-rail clip-on.
