What this part is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA1110-1AA42-0BA0 is a SENTRON switch disconnector in MCCB design — a 4-pole, 100 A rated device that provides visible isolation for a circuit but carries no overload or short-circuit protection. It's built for applications where you need a certified disconnect point without the trip curve of a molded case breaker. Rated current holds flat at 100 A across the full operating temperature range from 40 °C through 70 °C, so no derating calculation is needed for panel ambient temperatures up to 70 °C. Rated for AC operation up to 690 V and DC up to 600 V, with an insulation voltage of 800 V.
Undervoltage release and control wiring
Includes an undervoltage release (UVR) that trips the disconnector when control voltage drops. No auxiliary contacts, voltage trigger, or communication function are present. The main circuit connects via busbar connection at the front terminals. An optional motor drive can be added for remote switching.
Mounting and environmental fit
Dimensions are 70 mm deep, 101.6 mm wide, and 130 mm high. Front protection is IP40. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C. Mechanical service life is rated at 15 000 operating cycles typical.
