The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1110-1AA42-0KH0 is a 4-pole switch disconnector in MCCB design, rated for 100 A continuous current (Iu) on a 160 A frame. It is built purely for isolation and switching — no overload or short-circuit protection electronics inside. The shunt trip (STL) release accepts 220–250 V DC or 208–277 V AC, and the auxiliary contact block carries 2 HQ auxiliary switches plus 1 trip alarm switch HQ. Front-terminal busbar connection, IP40 on the front face.
Where it fits in the panel
Mounts on a DIN rail or panel via the 3VA frame. Dimensions: 130 mm height, 101.6 mm width, 70 mm depth — the 101.6 mm width is a standard 4-pole MCCB footprint, so it drops into existing 4-pole cutouts without rework. Front terminal busbar connection keeps wiring in the same plane as adjacent breakers. The IP40 front face is fine for enclosed panels; no washdown rating, so keep it behind a gland plate or cabinet door. Power loss is 38 W maximum at rated load — factor that into enclosure thermal calculations.
