Rated continuous current Iu is 100 A at 40 °C, and it holds that same 100 A all the way up to 50 °C before it starts to derate: 96 A at 55 °C, 94 A at 60 °C, 92 A at 65 °C, 90 A at 70 °C. Breaking capacity is listed at four voltage points: 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 10.5 kA at 690 V. That's a high-interrupting rating at the lower voltages — useful for main or sub-feed positions where fault current is stiff. The 10.5 kA at 690 V tells you it's not a 690 V workhorse, but for 400–480 V distribution it has headroom. Overcurrent release is the TM240 — a thermal-magnetic type, fixed-trip, no electronic adjustment. That means the trip curve is set at the factory; you're not dialling in long-time or short-time pickup in the field. Two auxiliary switches (HQ type) come built in, so you get status feedback without adding a side-mount block.
What's in the box — and what's not
Dimensions are 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall — a 3-pole frame that fits the standard SENTRON 3VA mounting footprint. Front protection is IP40, so it's panel-front rated for tools and fingers but not washdown. This is a bare-bones line-protection MCCB with a shunt trip and aux contacts; if you need those extras, you're looking at a different variant in the 3VA family. Rated insulation voltage Ui is 800 V, and the operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 80 °C.
