It carries a TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release — the 240 refers to the frame size, and the breaker is fully rated at 100 A without derating up to 50 °C ambient; above that it drops to 98 A at 55 °C, 96 A at 60 °C, 94 A at 65 °C, and 91 A at 70 °C. Interrupting capacity varies by line voltage: 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at 500 V and 690 V. The 70 mm depth and 101.6 mm width make it a standard-fit for most 4-pole MCCB slots in Siemens SENTRON switchboards.
Integration Notes
The 4-pole format covers three-phase plus neutral switching. The TM240 release is fixed — no interchangeable trip units. Maximum power dissipation is 25 W, which should be factored into enclosure thermal calculations. The insulation voltage rating is 800 V, adequate for 690 V line-to-line systems.
