The Siemens 3VA1110-4ED36-0AC0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 160 molded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) from the 3VA1 series, rated for line protection with a TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit. The breaking capacity class S delivers Icu=36kA at 415 V AC — that is the maximum fault current it can safely interrupt without damage, sized for industrial distribution panels where available fault current runs high. Overload protection is fixed at Ir=100 A (the thermal element), and short-circuit protection trips at Ii=10 x In (10 times the 100 A rating, so 1000 A magnetic pickup). The fixed settings mean no field-adjustable dials; what you order is what protects the circuit.
Where it fits in the panel
This breaker mounts on a DIN rail or directly to a backplate via the frame's integral clip — standard for the 3VA1 family.
