The Siemens 3VA1110-4ED46-0AB0 is a 4-pole IEC moulded-case circuit breaker in the 3VA1 series, built on a 160 A frame with a 100 A fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit (TM210, FTFM). The overload protection Ir is fixed at 100 A, and the short-circuit protection Ii is fixed at 10 x In — so it clears a fault at 1000 A instantaneously. The breaking capacity class S delivers Icu=36kA at 415 V, which means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to 36 kA without failing, giving you solid selectivity headroom downstream.
The breaker uses clamp (box lug) terminations for the line and load sides, which accept copper or aluminium conductors. The N conductor is unprotected — meaning the neutral pole is switched but not monitored for overcurrent; verify your system's neutral protection requirements before specifying. Two auxiliary switch changeover contacts (form C) are built in, so you can wire status feedback to a PLC or annunciator without adding a separate accessory block.
