What it is and what the key ratings mean
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1110-4EF32-0AC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection. It carries a continuous current of 100 A at 40 °C ambient, with minimal derating up to 50 °C (still 100 A), dropping to 91 A at 70 °C — so in a warm panel you lose less than 10 % of capacity. The breaking capacity hits 121 kA at 240 V, which gives you plenty of headroom for high-fault installations; at 415 V it still interrupts 75.6 kA, and at 690 V it holds 11.9 kA. The TM240 overcurrent release is a thermal-magnetic type, fixed at 240 A short-circuit pickup — no dial to mis-set in the field.
Panel fit and mechanical integration
The breaker measures 130 mm tall, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep — a compact 3-pole footprint that fits standard panel layouts. The 70 mm depth means it clears most shallow enclosures without forcing a deeper box. It ships with the basic switch variant 3VA11104EF320AA0 and includes two HQ auxiliary switches, so you get status feedback without ordering add-on kits separately.
