What this MCCB delivers on the line
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1110-4EF32-0AE0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current (Iu) with a TM240 thermal-magnetic release, meaning the thermal trip is fixed at that amp rating and the magnetic short-circuit pickup is factory-calibrated for the line-protection curve. Interrupting capacity hits 121 kA at 240 V, 75.6 kA at 415 V, and still holds 52.5 kA at 440 V — numbers that give you serious SCCR headroom in a 100 A frame without stepping up to a bigger case size. Current rating holds flat at 100 A from 40 °C through 50 °C, then tapers to 96 A at 55 °C, 94 A at 60 °C, 92 A at 65 °C, and 90 A at 70 °C. If your panel ambient runs hot, you lose only 10 A at the top end — no derating panic for most industrial enclosures. Four auxiliary switches (HQ type) come built in. No undervoltage release, no shunt trip, no ground-fault module on this variant.
Panel fit and mounting
Mounts on a standard DIN rail or direct-panel mount. Dimensions: 130 mm tall, 76.2 mm wide, 70 mm deep. The 76.2 mm width is the standard 3-pole MCCB footprint — it drops into the same cutout as other SENTRON 3VA frames, so swapping a 3VA1010 or 3VA1110 variant means no re-drilling the backplate. Front protection is IP40 — fine for a clean panel interior; keep it out of washdown zones. Storage range spans -40 °C to 80 °C, which covers most warehouse and truck-transit conditions.
