The interrupting capacity at 240 V is 121 kA, which means it can safely clear faults up to that level without upstream cascading; at 415 V it still holds 75.6 kA, and at 690 V it delivers 11.9 kA. That spread covers most industrial distribution panels where high-fault-current mains feed downstream branch breakers.
The 3-pole footprint is standard for a 100 A frame — it occupies three 18 mm pole spaces on the rail. The trip indicator on the front face shows whether the breaker opened on overload or short circuit, which speeds fault isolation on a line-down call.
