The front face is IP40 rated, suitable for enclosure-mounted installations where splash ingress is not expected.
Breaking capacity across voltage — selectivity matters
Breaking capacity is voltage-dependent: 121 kA at 240 V AC, 75.6 kA at 415 V, 52.5 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. For a 415 V distribution board, the 75.6 kA rating gives good headroom above typical 50 kA prospective fault levels, supporting selective coordination with downstream 25-50 kA rated MCBs.
Thermal derating and continuous current
Above that, derating is gradual: 98 A at 55 °C, 96 A at 60 °C, 94 A at 65 °C, and 91 A at 70 °C. In a crowded panel with internal temperature rise, plan for the derated figure at the actual ambient. Maximum power loss is 25 W at rated current — heat dissipation that must be factored into enclosure thermal calculations.
