What it is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1110-4GD42-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, carrying 100 A continuously at 40 °C without derating. That 100 A holds steady up to 50 °C; above that, it tapers to 91 A at 70 °C — useful if the panel runs hot or sits near other heat sources. The TM210 thermal-magnetic release handles overloads and short-circuits, with interrupting ratings that climb to 121 kA at 240 V and still deliver 75.6 kA at 415 V, so it clears high-fault conditions without cascading upstream.
Panel fit and mounting
At 70 mm deep, 101.6 mm wide, and 130 mm tall, this MCCB fits standard panel layouts. The front face carries an IP40 rating — acceptable for enclosed distribution boards but not for washdown zones. No communication module onboard; if you need remote tripping or status feedback, the optional motor drive (listed as available) can be added later without pulling the breaker.
