SENTRON 3VA1110-5ED32-0BA0 — 100 A MCCB with undervoltage release
The interrupting rating reaches 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415 V, and 75.6 kA at 440 V — figures that govern the available fault current the installation can tolerate upstream.
The 100 A rating holds across 40 °C to 50 °C ambient without derating; at 55 °C it drops to 98 A, and at 70 °C to 91 A. For a panel running warm — say 55 °C inside the enclosure — the breaker still handles 98 A continuous, which is within 2 % of the nominal.
Panel integration
The 3VA1110-5ED32-0BA0 mounts on a DIN rail. Dimensions are 76.2 mm wide (3 in), 130 mm tall (5.12 in), and 70 mm deep (2.76 in). The 3-pole width matches standard MCCB spacing in distribution boards. No communication function or ground-fault monitoring is built in — this is a plain line-protection breaker with the undervoltage release as the only auxiliary. Maximum power loss is 27.5 W, which should be factored into enclosure thermal calculations.
