At 690 V the 17 kA rating is lower, so verify your system's available fault current if the breaker feeds a 690 V bus.
Thermal derating and panel integration

If the breaker sits in a crowded enclosure with other heat sources, use the 70 °C figure (90 A) for your load calculation. The footprint is 76.2 mm wide × 130 mm high × 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB width that fits most DIN-rail or panel-mount backplates without re-drilling. IP40 on the front means it's protected against tools and wires >1 mm, but not against water ingress; keep it inside the enclosure.
Auxiliary contacts and shunt trip
This version ships with two auxiliary switches (HQ type) for remote status indication — one N/O and one N/C set, typically wired to a PLC input or pilot light. It also includes a shunt trip (STL) release, order code 3VA9688-0BL32, for remote tripping via a pushbutton or safety relay. No undervoltage release, no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module on this variant. If you need remote reset or Modbus integration, step to a different 3VA option.
