This MCCB delivers 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, 75.6 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at 690 V. Those are the ultimate short-circuit breaking capacities (Icu) at each voltage level — the fault current the breaker can interrupt once and remain functional. For a 415 V panel with a prospective fault current of, say, 85 kA, this breaker clears it with 36 kA of headroom. At 690 V the 17 kA rating is lower, so verify your system's available fault current if the breaker feeds a 690 V bus.
Above that it derates: 96 A at 55 °C, 94 A at 60 °C, 92 A at 65 °C, and 90 A at 70 °C. The footprint is 76.2 mm wide × 130 mm high × 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB width that fits most DIN-rail or panel-mount backplates without re-drilling.
Auxiliary contacts and shunt trip
This version ships with two auxiliary switches (HQ type) for remote status indication — one N/O and one N/C set, typically wired to a PLC input or pilot light. It also includes a shunt trip (STL) release, order code 3VA9688-0BL32, for remote tripping via a pushbutton or safety relay. If you need remote reset or Modbus integration, step to a different 3VA option.
