TM240 release and trip characteristics
The overcurrent release is a TM240 thermal-magnetic type — fixed thermal pickup, magnetic trip adjustable. The thermal element tracks the 100 A frame rating; the magnetic short-circuit pickup is set at the factory per the TM240 curve. No undervoltage release, no shunt trip, no ground-fault module on this variant — it's a straight line-protection breaker with a 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary switch and a separate trip-alarm switch (HQ configuration).
The 3VA1110 frame measures 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep. That 76.2 mm width is a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint — three 25.4 mm pole centers — so it drops into existing SENTRON or 3VA panelboards without re-drilling. Front IP40 protection handles typical indoor panel environments; no washdown rating, so keep it inside the enclosure.
