What ships in the carton
The Siemens 3VA1110-6EF32-0KC0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 160 molded-case circuit breaker in breaking capacity class H, rated Icu=70kA at 415 V AC. It ships with a TM240 thermal-magnetic trip unit set for In=100 A, overload protection adjustable Ir=70...100 A, and short-circuit pickup Ii=5...10 x In. The factory-fitted accessories include a shunt trip (STL) rated 220-250 V DC / 208-277 V AC, two HQ auxiliary switches, and a nut keeper kit — no loose hardware to chase down mid-install.
What the ratings mean for panel fit
The 70 kA Icu at 415 V puts this breaker in class H — it safely interrupts fault currents up to that level without upstream fuses or a current-limiting reactor. That matters when the available fault current at the panelboard is high (common on 400 V industrial distribution). The TM240 trip unit gives a thermal curve for overloads and a magnetic instantaneous for shorts; the adjustable Ir (70-100 A) lets you match the cable or load without swapping the trip pack. The shunt trip coil accepts both DC and AC control voltages, so it integrates into either a 220 V DC trip circuit or a 208-277 V AC emergency-off string.
