Switch disconnector, 125 A — no overload trip, no short-circuit trip
It is designed without overload or short-circuit protection — meaning it functions purely as a load-break disconnect for isolation and switching, not as a circuit breaker. The 125 A rating is the maximum uninterrupted current the main contacts can carry under normal operation. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, with a maximum AC operational voltage of 690 V at 50/60 Hz and a maximum DC operational voltage of 500 V. The unit can withstand a short-time current of 2 kA for 1 second and 2 kA for 0.5 seconds — enough to ride through downstream faults without welding the contacts, provided upstream protection clears the fault within that window.
Mounting and connection — busbar feed, front terminals
Main circuit connection is via busbar connection with front terminal arrangement — the busbars land on the front face, not the rear. This suits panel layouts where the disconnect is fed from a horizontal busbar system running across the top of the enclosure. The unit accepts an optional motor drive (product extension optional), allowing remote motorized operation for applications where the disconnect must be cycled from a control room or automation system.
