Switch disconnector in MCCB form factor — 125 A continuous, no trip curve
The SENTRON 3VA1112-1AA42-0DC0 is a 4-pole switch disconnector built in an MCCB-style housing (IEC frame 160). It is rated for 125 A continuously across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that temperature ceiling. Operating voltage is 690 V AC or 600 V DC, with an insulation voltage of 800 V. This is a pure disconnecting device: it provides no overload or short-circuit protection, so it is intended for isolation and safety disconnection where the upstream protection is handled by a separate circuit breaker or fuse.
Built-in undervoltage release and auxiliary switches
This variant ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) factory-installed, rated for 208–230 V AC 50/60 Hz, and two high-quality auxiliary switches (2 CO contacts). The UVR ensures the disconnector trips automatically if control voltage drops, which is a common requirement for safety circuits and motor feeder isolation. The auxiliary switches provide status feedback to a PLC or indication panel. The front terminal arrangement and busbar connection pattern match the standard 3VA MCCB footprint, so it can be panel-integrated alongside other 3VA breakers without rework.
Mounting and panel integration
Dimensions are 130 mm height, 101.6 mm width, 70 mm depth. The front face carries IP40 protection — suitable for enclosed panel mounting where no water jets are present. The main circuit connects via busbar from the front terminals; the UVR and auxiliary switches terminate with standard screw or cage-clamp connections. The mechanical service life is rated at 15,000 operating cycles typical. An optional motor drive can be added for remote operation.
