125 A MCCB for line protection — 4-pole, TM240 release
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1112-4GF46-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker rated at 125 A continuous, designed for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release — the thermal element handles overloads, the magnetic element clears short-circuits. Breaking capacity reaches 121 kA at 240 V, 75.6 kA at 415 V, and 52.5 kA at 440 V, so it handles high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream. The 125 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C; above that it derates gradually to 114 A at 70 °C. The 70 mm depth and 101.6 mm width fit standard MCCB panel cutouts. IP40 on the front face keeps dust out of the enclosure interior; the unit is intended for indoor, pollution-degree-2 environments typical of industrial switchboards.
