Breaking capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415 V, 75.6 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at 690 V, so it handles high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream.
Full 125 A rating holds through 50 °C ambient; above that, the breaker derates linearly to 120 A at 55 °C, 117.5 A at 60 °C, 115 A at 65 °C, and 112.5 A at 70 °C.
Integrated Auxiliary and Shunt Trip
The integrated auxiliary trip accessory carries order code 3VA9688-0BL32 — a factory-fitted component, not a field-add kit. The shunt trip allows a PLC or emergency-stop circuit to open the breaker remotely, critical for safety circuits or unattended machinery.
