Rated current and interrupting capacity
The 3VA1112-5EF32-0BC0 is a 3-pole SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated for a continuous current Iu of 125 A. The TM240 thermal-magnetic release provides line protection, with the thermal element calibrated for ambient temperatures up to 40 °C. Interrupting capacity is specified at four voltage levels: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, 75.6 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at 690 V. These are the maximum fault currents the breaker can safely clear at each voltage — critical numbers for selectivity studies and SCCR compliance on a 480Y/277 V or 400 V panel.
Integrated undervoltage release and auxiliary contacts
This variant ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) factory-fitted, designed per the 3VA9608-0BB11 auxiliary trip assembly. The UVR trips the breaker when control voltage drops below its dropout threshold — standard practice for motor feeder circuits where loss of control power must open the main contacts. Two HQ auxiliary switches are also integrated, providing status feedback for the breaker's open/closed position.
Physical fit and panel integration
Dimensions are 130 mm height, 76.2 mm width, and 70 mm depth. Front-face protection is IP40.
