What this breaker carries — and what it doesn't
The Siemens 3VA1112-5MH32-0JH0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 160 MCCB rated 125 A with a breaking capacity of 55 kA at 415 V (class M). It ships with a TM120M thermal-magnetic release set for starter protection — note that the TM120M provides short-circuit protection (adjustable Ii = 5–15 × In) but no overload protection, so a separate overload relay is required upstream for motor duty. The order code includes a shunt trip (STL) rated 110–127 V DC / AC 50/60 Hz, two auxiliary switches (HQ), and one trip alarm switch (HQ). A nut keeper kit is also included for panel mounting.
Integration notes
Mounts on a DIN rail or panel via the included nut keeper kit. The shunt trip coil draws from a 110–127 V control supply — verify the control transformer rating and polarity before energizing. The two auxiliary switches and one trip alarm switch share the same terminal block; wire the alarm switch to the PLC digital input for remote trip indication.
