125 A MCCB with 220 kA interrupting capacity
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1112-6EF32-0AH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 125 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a thermal-magnetic TM240 overcurrent release. Its interrupting capacity reaches 220 kA at 240 V, dropping to 154 kA at 415 V and 75.6 kA at 440 V — figures that cover most industrial service-entrance and feeder applications where high fault current is expected. The TM240 release provides thermal protection for overloads and magnetic (instantaneous) protection for short circuits, tuned for line protection duty.
The 125 A rating holds flat from 40 °C through 50 °C, then derates to 122 A at 55 °C, 120 A at 60 °C, 117 A at 65 °C, and 114 A at 70 °C. In a sealed, uncooled enclosure at 55 °C ambient, expect to lose about 2.4% of the nominal rating. Dimensions are 130 mm height, 76.2 mm width (3 inches — standard MCCB pole spacing), and 70 mm depth. The 3-pole footprint fits standard Siemens SENTRON 3VA panel-mounting patterns and busbar systems.
