Switch disconnector for isolation and switching duty
The Siemens 3VA1116-1AA36-0JH0 is a SENTRON 3VA1 switch disconnector in MCCB design, rated for 160 A continuous current (Iu) on a 160 A frame. It provides no-fault isolation — no overload or short-circuit protection — making it a pure disconnect for maintenance or load-break switching on AC circuits up to 690 V 50/60 Hz and DC circuits up to 500 V.
The 160 A continuous rating matches the frame size, so it carries full-rated current without derating at 40 °C ambient. The shunt trip (STL) release operates on 110–127 V DC or AC — useful for remote emergency-off or interlock circuits.
Front-terminal connection with clamp terminals simplifies panel wiring. The 70 mm depth, 76.2 mm width, and 130 mm height fit standard 3-pole MCCB cutouts in distribution boards and enclosures.
