The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1116-3EF32-0BH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection. It carries 160 A continuously up to 50 °C, then derates to 150 A at 70 °C — so on a warm panel day you still have headroom for a full 150 A feeder. Breaking capacity runs 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, and 11.9 kA at 690 V, which covers most industrial distribution panels without needing a current-limiting upstream breaker.
Built-in undervoltage release and auxiliary switch set
This breaker ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) integrated — if control voltage drops, the breaker trips. That saves wiring a separate UVR module and a panel cutout. The auxiliary switch block provides two auxiliary contacts plus one trip-alarm switch (HQ), enough to signal breaker status back to a PLC or annunciator without adding a third-party accessory.
Panel fit and integration
Dimensions are 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, 70 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA frame size that drops into existing MCCB panel cutouts and busbar systems. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, so it handles 480/600 V distribution without derating the insulation. Power loss is 40.5 W maximum; factor that into enclosure thermal calculations if the panel is densely packed.
