160 A MCCB with TM210 release
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1116-5ED32-0AD0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 160 A continuous current (Iu) with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. The TM210 is a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip — no field-adjustable pickup — so it's a straight swap for a line-protection application where the load current is known and stable. Breaking capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, and 75.6 kA at 440 V — enough for high-fault utility feeds or transformer secondaries. At 690 V it still holds 17 kA, covering 690 V industrial networks.
Thermal derating and ambient limits
Rated continuous current holds at 160 A from 40 °C up to 50 °C. Above that it derates: 153.6 A at 55 °C, 150.4 A at 60 °C, 147.2 A at 65 °C, and 144 A at 70 °C. Operating ambient range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C.
Integration and auxiliary contacts
Front protection is IP40 — suitable for dry indoor panels. Dimensions are 130 mm height, 76.2 mm width, 70 mm depth. It ships with three auxiliary switches (HQ type) factory-fitted, so you get remote status indication without additional wiring. No undervoltage release, no shunt trip, no ground-fault module on this variant.
