The TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit handles overloads (thermal) and short-circuits (magnetic) in one package; the '210' designates the frame size and trip curve family. Breaking capacity is the key selection number: at 240 V it interrupts 187 kA, at 415 V it's 121 kA, and at 440 V it drops to 75.6 kA. Above 500 V the rating settles at 17 kA through 690 V. For a 400 V panel, the 121 kA figure gives substantial SCCR headroom for most industrial service-entrance or feeder applications.
Above that, derating begins: 158 A at 55 °C, 155 A at 60 °C, 153 A at 65 °C, and 150 A at 70 °C. The maximum power loss at rated load is 40.5 W, which matters for enclosure thermal calculations when grouping multiple breakers.
Construction and integration
Insulation voltage is rated at 800 V. No communication function or voltage-trigger option on this variant. The supplied basic switch order code is 3VA11165ED320AA0.
