The 20 A rating holds across 40 °C to 55 °C ambient — no derating curve to chase in a warm enclosure. Above that, it drops to 19 A at 60–70 °C, which still covers most motor control center interiors. The 75.6 kA at 240 V means it can sit upstream of a 22 kA panelboard without extra current-limiting fuses; at 415 V it still breaks 52.5 kA, and at 690 V it holds 11.9 kA. The TM220 release gives a thermal fixed at 20 A and a magnetic pickup that's factory-set — no field-adjustable trip unit, which simplifies spec but means you commit to the curve at order time.
