What this MCCB does for a panel
Its TM240 thermal-magnetic release handles the overload and short-circuit curve without an external trip unit — a fixed, non-adjustable thermal element means the breaker ships ready for the 20 A rating, not a range you set on site. Interrupting capacity climbs to 75.6 kA at 240 V and still holds 52.5 kA at 415 V, so it handles high-fault utility feeds common in industrial switchboards. At 690 V it still clears 10.5 kA — enough for most motor-circuit backfeeds.
Thermal derating curve — the real ampacity
Above that the thermal curve bites: 19.2 A at 55 °C, 18.8 A at 60 °C, 18.4 A at 65 °C, and 18 A at 70 °C.
Dimensions are 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm high, 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint.
