Breaking capacity — what it clears and where
This MCCB delivers 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 10.5 kA at 690 V. At 415 V, the 52.5 kA figure gives comfortable headroom above typical 25–36 kA utility fault levels in most industrial panels. At 690 V, the 10.5 kA rating is lower but still covers many motor-control center applications.
At 55 °C it derates to 19.2 A; at 60 °C to 18.8 A; at 65 °C to 18.4 A; at 70 °C to 18 A. Above that, the continuous load must be reduced accordingly. The TM240 release has a maximum adjustable time setting of 1 second for the long-time delay.
