The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1125-3EE32-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 25 A at 40 °C, with a TM220 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release designed for line protection in distribution panels.
Breaking capacity drops from 75.6 kA at 240 V to 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at 500 V and 690 V. That 11.9 kA at 690 V is still useful for 690 V line-side protection in European or industrial grids; for 480 V systems the 32 kA at 440 V is the relevant figure. The 25 A rating holds from 40 °C through 50 °C, then derates to 24 A at 55–60 °C and 23 A at 65–70 °C — so for a 40 °C panel ambient it's a straight 25 A breaker, but in a hot enclosure you lose 1–2 A.
Panel fit and protection
At 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, and 130 mm tall, this MCCB fits standard 3-pole breaker slots in SENTRON distribution boards or DIN-rail adapter plates. The IP40 front protection means it's dust-protected on the face but not sealed against water — fine for indoor panel use, not for washdown. No trip indicator, undervoltage release, or communication function; it's a straightforward thermal-magnetic breaker with no auxiliary electronics. Maximum power loss is 8.5 W, which matters for thermal management in a sealed enclosure.
