What this 3VA1125-4ED12-0AA0 is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1125-4ED12-0AA0 is a 1-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) for line protection, fitted with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. It's rated 25 A continuous at 40 °C and delivers a 75.6 kA interrupting rating at 240 V — that's the fault-clearing capacity you need for high-available short-circuit current panels, not a residential-grade device. The 415 V operating voltage sees a 9 kA interrupting rating, so the application voltage determines which rating governs your SCCR coordination study.
Thermal derating and panel integration
Rated 25 A from 40 °C through 50 °C, then steps down to 24 A at 55 °C and 60 °C, and 23 A at 65 °C and 70 °C. If your enclosure ambient sits above 50 °C, you lose 1–2 A of headroom — factor that into the load schedule. The 25.4 mm width (1 inch) and 70 mm depth let it snap onto standard DIN rail; the 130 mm height keeps it within a typical distribution panel's gland-plate clearance. IP40 on the front means the enclosure must shield it from dust and dripping water.
Lifecycle and sourcing
This part is in active current production. The SENTRON 3VA series is Siemens' standard MCCB line.
