Siemens 3VA1125-4GD46-0AA0 — SENTRON 4-Pole MCCB, 25 A, TM210 Trip
The Siemens 3VA1125-4GD46-0AA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) with four poles, rated 25 A continuous, and fitted with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. It is designed for line protection in distribution panels and switchgear. Breaking capacity varies sharply with line voltage: 121 kA at 240 V, 75.6 kA at 415 V, 52.5 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. That 121 kA at 240 V means it can interrupt very high fault currents in low-voltage distribution — typical for a main or feeder breaker in a 240 V panel where available fault current is high. Thermal derating is minimal up to 50 °C (full 25 A), then drops to 24 A at 55–60 °C and 23 A at 65–70 °C. In a warm enclosure, plan for that 2 A reduction rather than relying on the 25 A nameplate. Footprint is 130 mm high, 101.6 mm wide, 70 mm deep — a standard 4-pole MCCB form factor that fits most DIN-rail or panel-mount enclosures without surprises. The front face carries IP40 protection, so it is suited for indoor panel environments where tools or fingers might contact the front but not for washdown areas.
