The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1125-5EE46-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 25 A at 40 °C, fitted with a TM220 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. Its interrupting capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415 V AC, and 75.6 kA at 440 V AC — figures that give you selectivity headroom in high-fault panelboards without cascading upstream. The TM220 release means the thermal element is fixed at 25 A; the magnetic pickup is adjustable, so you tune the short-circuit trip threshold to match downstream cable and load protection. This is a line-protection design (not motor-protection), intended for feeder or branch-circuit duty in distribution panels.
Dimensions and panel fit
The breaker measures 70 mm deep, 101.6 mm wide, and 130 mm high. The 101.6 mm width (4 inches) is the standard 4-pole MCCB footprint for this class.
Thermal derating and operating range
Rated current holds at 25 A from 40 °C up to 50 °C, then derates to 24 A at 55–60 °C, and 23 A at 65–70 °C. The operating ambient range is -25 °C to +70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to +80 °C. Power loss at rated load is 8.5 W maximum. The front face carries IP40 protection — suitable for clean indoor panels, not washdown environments.
