It carries a rated insulation voltage of 800 V and delivers interrupting capacity that scales with system voltage: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, 75.6 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at 690 V.
Above that, the breaker derates gradually: 24 A at 55 °C, 23.5 A at 60 °C, 23 A at 65 °C, and 22.5 A at 70 °C.
Undervoltage release and auxiliary options
It does not include auxiliary contacts or a voltage trigger. The integrated auxiliary trip is specified as order code 3VA9608-0BB11, which is the companion shunt trip or UVR module that mates to the breaker. No communication function, phase failure detection, or ground fault monitoring is built in; those are separate variants in the 3VA family.
Mechanical endurance and physical fit
Rated for 15,000 latching operations. The breaker measures 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide (3-inch standard), and 70 mm deep. The DIN EN 81346-2 reference code is Q, consistent with switchgear function. Panel builders should account for the 70 mm depth when routing busbars or cables behind the breaker.
This is an active, in-production Siemens SENTRON 3VA line-protection MCCB.
