Line protection breaker with a 220 kA interrupting floor
The Siemens 3VA1125-6EF32-0AF0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated for 25 A continuous current across a 3-pole configuration, using a TM240 thermal-magnetic release for line protection. Its interrupting capacity hits 220 kA at 240 V AC, 154 kA at 415 V, 121 kA at 440 V, and still holds 17 kA at 690 V — so it handles high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream. The 800 V rated insulation voltage (Ui) keeps it comfortable in 480/600 V panels.
Thermal derating and panel fit
This breaker carries its full 25 A rating from 40 °C up to 50 °C ambient, then derates linearly to 22.5 A at 70 °C — useful if the MCCB sits near transformers or drives inside a sealed enclosure. Dimensions are 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, 70 mm deep, so it fits standard SENTRON 3VA panel footprints and accepts the same busbar and accessory system. Front protection is IP40; the auxiliary contact version ships with one auxiliary switch and one trip alarm switch (HQ type) for remote status feedback.
