SENTRON 3VA1125-6EF32-0AG0 — 25 A MCCB for Line Protection
The Siemens 3VA1125-6EF32-0AG0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a continuous current rating of 25 A at 40 °C, derating to 23 A at 70 °C — the thermal-magnetic TM240 release handles overload and short-circuit protection without external auxiliaries. Breaking capacity is the standout: 220 kA at 240 V, 154 kA at 415 V, and 121 kA at 440 V. At 500 V and 690 V it still holds 17 kA. That puts this MCCB in the high-interrupting class — suitable for installations with high available fault current, such as industrial main switchboards or transformer secondaries where selectivity with downstream breakers is critical. The 3-pole frame is 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall, 70 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA1 footprint that fits existing panel layouts without re-drilling. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, covering 400/480 V systems with headroom.
Integration and Panel Fit
Mounts on a standard DIN rail or panel-mount via the 3VA1 frame. The supplied basic switch is 3VA11256EF320AA0; the auxiliary switch configuration is one auxiliary contact plus one trip alarm switch (HP type). No undervoltage release or shunt trip is included — those are separate accessories if needed. Power loss is 8.5 W maximum — negligible for thermal budgeting in a closed panel, but worth noting if the enclosure is densely packed with multiple breakers. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage from -40 °C to 80 °C.
