The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1125-6EF32-0AH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 25 A continuous current, with a TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. Its breaking capacity hits 220 kA at 240 V, 154 kA at 415 V, 121 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at 690 V — so on a 400 V distribution board it clears fault currents up to 154 kA without cascading upstream breakers. Thermal derating is mild: it holds 25 A from 40 °C to 50 °C, then drops to 24 A at 55 °C, 23.5 A at 60 °C, 23 A at 65 °C, and 22.5 A at 70 °C. That means in a warm panel — say 55 °C — you still get 24 A continuous without nuisance tripping.
Panel fit and mounting
The breaker measures 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep. The 76.2 mm width is a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint — it fits existing SENTRON mounting plates and busbar systems without panel rework. Front IP40 protects against tool drops during commissioning. Auxiliary contact version is 2 auxiliary switches plus 1 trip alarm switch (HQ type), so you get status feedback and a separate alarm signal without adding a module. Trip indicator is present — visible flag on the front for quick fault isolation.
