The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1125-6EF36-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated 25 A at 40 °C, designed for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release — fixed thermal and magnetic trip settings, no adjustment dial — so what you spec is what trips. The interrupting ratings are the headline: 220 kA at 240 V, 154 kA at 415 V, 121 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. That 220 kA at 240 V means it can clear a fault at the full available short-circuit current of a large transformer-fed panel without needing an upstream current-limiting fuse. At 690 V the 17 kA rating still covers most industrial motor-control center bus faults.
Mounting and panel fit
The breaker measures 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall, and 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint that drops into SENTRON distribution panels and most third-party enclosures without re-drilling the mounting plate. Front IP40 protection means it's fine inside a closed panel; no washdown rating, so keep it out of wet zones. Max power loss is 8.5 W — negligible for thermal budgeting in a populated enclosure, but worth noting if you're packing a dozen of these into a sealed box.
