Interrupting capacity and temperature derating — the real selection numbers
The 75.6 kA at 240 V is the headline number, but the 52.5 kA at 415 V is what drives coordination in a 400 V distribution panel. At 440 V the rating drops to 32 kA, and at 500 V or 690 V it holds at 11.9 kA — so for a 690 V line, the available fault current must be verified against that lower ceiling. The 32 A continuous rating holds from 40 °C through 50 °C; above that it derates to 31 A at 55 °C and 60 °C, and to 30 A at 65 °C and 70 °C.
